Starting E-journal, again Jan-03-2004-Sat

Following a couple of times of trial and errors, I decided to start writing personal e-journal, again. E of e-journal here is not from 'electronic' nor 'electric,' but from 'English'. Yes, that's right. E is from English. English journal.

Perhaps it's not a big deal at all for native English speakers to write journals in their own mother tongue, like Korean to me.

It is a big deal, however, for non-native speakers, like myself, to write journals in English. It is simply because not their mother tongue. Every time I try to use - both in speaking and in writing - English, I have to endure two steps of thinking process unlike when using Korean, my mother tongue.

In most cases you can't help thinking in Korean first, even though you try hard to transform your whole language process into English-driven. First Korean, then English. Tedious, boring, sometimes even painful step.

As you try hard to improve your language skills, life would be easier.

Okay, let's kick off. And, hopefully, let's keep writing journal everyday. (*)
